I have worked with JavaScript for the past seven years, first on the client side as part of the jQuery Mobile development team, and then on the server side as part of the Node.js collaborators and later the Node.js Technical Steering Committee. I am part of the API working group, having contributed to the development of Node.js' new ABI-stable, VM-agnostic API dubbed N-API. I have also helpedimprove the integration of native addons with a new, multi-threaded Node.js.

I have previously spoken about the general principles of Node.js addon development at Node.js Interactive 2016 and have co-hosted workshops about native addon development using N-API and its corresponding C++ wrapper library, node-addon-api.
